Voice for Canines was created to help raise awareness to the many problems that face our animal community in NL and Lab. As a dog lover, I believe that dogs were given to us with a purpose, to enrich our lives and give unconditional love and loyalty like no other.

We have to speak for the animals as they cannot speak for themselves. We need to be the voice for the dog or cat that lies in a shelter waiting to be needlessly euthanized, we need to speak for the dog that sits in a cage in a puppy mill, we need to speak for the dogs and cats that have litter after litter because they are not spayed or neutered. Animal overpopulation is OUR problem and we need to fix it. We need to speak for the dog who lives a life penned or tied to a doghouse 24/7 without adequate food, shelter and human contact. We need to speak for the irresponsible pet owner who thinks that dogs and cats are disposable. Dogs and cats are living creatures. Educate yourself and decide if you really have the time and the money to bring a pet into your home.
